Second Annual TEDxYouth Event

Allison Schreck, Reporter

On March 10th, The TEDxYouth OCSA second annual event will take place in the BlackBox.

The event will include a variety of speakers presenting their talks, with topics ranging from historical analysis to measuring greatness, to understanding active versus passive stereotyping. All year students have been working hard on writing, memorizing, and perfecting these talks.

Mr. Olivo, a digital media teacher at OCSA, has a team ready to film the talks so they can be submitted to the TED website. Ms. Taylor, who is a teacher at OCSA and also in charge of the TED talk is excited for the show. She says, “We already have a full audience signed up so if you did not get a chance to participate or attend this year, be on the lookout next year!”
