Living Among The Stars: A Farewell to Stephen Hawking

On March 14, 2018, famous theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking passed away at his Cambridge home in the United Kingdom. Considered one of the most brilliant minds in the world for his theory on black holes and contributions to theoretical principles, Hawking wrote multiple books, like “A Brief History in Time: From Big Bang to Black Holes,” in which he explored the concepts already established by the scientific community or by himself.

Hawking also became an inspiration and symbol for many disabled persons, especially those with Lou Gehrig’s disease; he managed to survive an extra 50 or more years, despite given only two years to live by doctors. Hawking was, and arguably still is, the shining example of many cosmologists and theoretical physicists.
