Readers can look forward to coverage on the infamously long series “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” They released a new video on their YouTube “Steel Wool Studios,” which left the gaming community guessing about the content of the new game, “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.”
For those of you who don’t know, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is an indie horror game series created by Scott Cawthon. The first game in the franchise was released on August 8th, 2014. So far, the series has eight games to its name with two spin off book series and a movie possibly on the way. The game is well known for its animatronic characters: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, as well as the hidden lore pieced together by the community. For those of you who don’t know, lore is the backstory and details of a piece of media.
On September 21, 2021, the short one minute and forty-two second trailer shocked the community with the new information of Moondrop and Sunrise, new animatronics being added to Security Breach, being one and the same. The video “Freddy & Friends: On Tour Episode 2” appears normal at first with an old Scooby-doo esc animation style, until it eventually glitches two times, resulting in a sneak peak for the new game.
Many may question why the trailers of these games are so vital to the community. This is because they slowly reveal the mystery of “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” along with helping raise questions for fan theories and piecing together lore.
The game was recently delayed by Scott Cawthon, the creator of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’, after being announced in 2019. “And now, again, I’ve made the decision to put more time and money into it to make the sure it is finished properly and that means a late 2021 instead of an early 2021 release,” said Cawthon in statement. From 2019 to now, there was only book content to fill the void for the fans. With the many delays on the game release, fans are eager to get any sort of information on ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach’.
‘Getting in to the Gaming Gig’ will easily explain new information on gaming updates and will be a vital outlet for gamers alike. Stay tuned for future articles!
