The time has come for OCSA’s senior visual artists to have their last major art exhibit.

On Friday, March 4th at 5:30 p.m. the senior art majors will present a collection of pieces that they have crafted since their arrival at OCSA. The artwork will be premiering on Friday but will stay on display in the hallways for the following 2 weeks. The art pieces will also be judged.

Middle school visual arts director Mr. Corbett stated that the judge is a 2008 graduate. The exhibitions will be judged and ranked according to technique and talent.

In an interview with senior visual artist, Samuela Evangelio, she stated that “each artist’s exhibitions are going to be decorated.” She further stated that she’s “really excited to see everyone’s exhibitions.” Evangelio’s pieces are going to be featured in the main hall, decorated with origami. Her favorite pieces that will be featured in the show include “Stattuete” and “Spirit of the Cliff,” which she spent more than 7 hours on.

Admission to the show is free. We hope to see you there!
