UCF Student Deported Following Suspicious Behavior

Wenliang Sun, a former student at the University of Central Florida, has recently been deported for being a “student of concern.” On a visa from China, Sun was legally allowed to reside in Florida and study there. However, after displaying suspicious actions with the purchase of two high caliber semi-automatic rifles as well as a $70,000 dollar sports car seemingly out of the blue, Sun’s friend grew wary over his roommate’s sudden change in appearance and personality. He became so alarmed that he contacted local police to investigate.

Due to recent history of gun violence and mass shootings, a constant stress on safety has been ingrained in the minds and actions of campus officials.

“We know that, in today’s world, that a person in distress who owns a high-powered firearm cannot go unnoticed. We have a duty and an obligation to make sure our people are safe,” said UCF Chief of Police, Richard Beary.
