As the school year 2022-2023 comes to an end, the Junior/Senior class of OCSA presents this year’s prom: “A Night in Europe.” This year’s prom will be held at the Disney’s Boardwalk Inn on April 29th of 2023 from 7-10 PM.

Currently, the ticket prices are 100 dollars from March 1st until March 31st. The final price increase will be 105 dollars per person from April 1st through April 14th, and payment must be made through MySchoolBucks.com. You must have all other school fees paid prior to buying a ticket for prom, and all your graduation requirements must be up to date.

If you’re looking to bring a date from their grade, you are welcome to do so. However, if you want to bring someone from a different school you need to fill out a form from the front office and turn in to Ms. Smith by March 31st.

So why “A Night in Europe?” The theme was picked by the junior/senior prom committee. The prom committee went to several meetings and discussed the ideas they had in mind, presenting them to each grade level. Among the grade level meetings, it was generally agreed upon that “A Night in Europe” was the obvious choice. However, there were a few ideas tossed around similar to traveling or Disney (since prom is being held on Disney property). But “A Night in Europe” was the final choice.

There are several things’ students can look forward to besides the venue. According to Ms. Smith, “I just want to make sure that students feel they got their money’s worth between the food, the photos, and the favors. It’s a lot to organize and the prom committee is working to make sure students have a great time.” It is sure to be a night to remember, so make sure to get your tickets before prices increase!
