A singer, an artist, an icon. Taylor Swift announced The Eras Tour on November 1, 2022. Being one of the most popular artists in the music industry, the tickets weren’t going to be left un-bought. In fact, so many people wanted to buy tickets on TicketMaster the site shut down. After being active for nearly twenty minutes, the site made it nearly impossible for people to purchase tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event.

On top of that, tickets were not cheap. If you managed to get tickets before the site crashed, you would know. As someone who got lower bowl seat tickets, the price averaged to about $300 per ticket. And as for those who are trying to get re-sale tickets, good luck. The cheapest resale tickets you can find are on Vivid Seats for $635, with the most expensive re-sale tickets being marked at $22,716, leaving many fans disappointed.

But why is everyone going crazy over this tour? Back in 2020, Swift had to cancel her “Lover Fest World Tour” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, disappointing many of her fans. Yet she still managed to release two sister albums during quarantine: Folklore and Evermore.

However, Taylor is back now, and she is better than ever. She has constructed a set list of 44 songs, including two surprise acoustic songs at each concert. She includes songs from each of her albums, all with their own aesthetic and inspired outfits. With custom Louboutin shoes for each of her looks, she will never go out of style. On top of that, the show is about three and a half hours long (not including openers).

She has excited fans from all over the world, me included. As the opening night crowd in Tampa cheered her on for her performances in the “Lover” era, she admitted she had something to confess. Ms. Swift gestured to the crowd, “Now I have to be honest with you… all this… has me feeling amazing.”

She already toured Florida, Texas, Arizona, Nevada. But she still has shows in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennesse, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, California, and more!

Taylor Swift has taken the world by storm, one performance at a time and I, for one, am here for it.
