Atlantis Ablaze, the OCSA literary magazine, prepares to sell their annual Candy Cane Grams starting the 27th of November, ending the 4th of December.
For the past week the team has worked on advertising the sales in order to spread a bit of holiday cheer. So, what are Candy Cane Grams? Candy Cane Grams are fundraising for the Magazine and the Creative Writing Department as a whole. As for what it includes, it’s a regular sized Candy Cane paired with a note that could either be a hand-written poem or a customized message of your choosing.
The price for the Candy Cane Grams is $1 per candy cane, available for purchase on MySchoolBucks. The form to write who you want your candy cane to be delivered to will be provided in the courtyard during lunch starting the 27th. You need to know your gift-getters first and last name, along with their 1st and 5th period.
Amy Flores, a member of Atlantis Ablaze’s PR team, exclaims that the thing she is most excited for when it comes to Candy Cane Grams is that “You get to spread a bit of joy by bringing the school together as the holidays near.” So, if don’t feel like saying “Bah, Humbug,” be sure to check out Atlantis Ablaze!
