The Osceola County School for the Arts Gilded Rose Prom is on April 27, 2024. Prom will be from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. All Juniors and Seniors are welcome to come. Tickets are currently $85 until February 29 at 11:59pm on MySchoolBucks. The tickets will go up by $10 each month. The last day that tickets can be purchased is on April 12, 2024. Juniors and Seniors who have no remaining financial obligations can go to prom. Any dues or fees must be paid before paying for prom tickets for themselves and their potential guest. The dress code is formal for all attending.
Guests are allowed and must range from ages 14- 20. Forms are due on April 5, 2024, and must go through a verification process. A photocopy of their Legal ID and additional information will be needed to be approved. This year’s prom will be at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, located at 9801 International Drive Orlando, Florida, 32819.
Prom chairs, Trenton Danker, Ellissa Cazeau, Laura Sandoval. Laila Coutou, and Victor Aramayo, have been closely planning prom since August of this school year with Lauren Smith, the teacher sponsor for prom. They are all very excited to present the Gilded Rose Prom, a classy dance with red rose decorations and hints of gold. “The theme is a nod to classic elegance and beauty,” Trenton Danker said in an interview.
This year, the music will be chosen by the prom chairs and will be given to the DJ. Prom chairs encourage everyone to expect music from popular artists like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Tyler the Creator, Bruno Mars, and many more. Additionally, the menu for this year includes an appetizer of Caesar salad, a selection of 4 entrees that include different protein options, a cupcake table, as well as the chef’s specialty dessert table.
