Gift-giving on Valentine’s Day is an easy way to show others some love- finding the gift is the hard part. Fortunately, Middle School Choir is providing the service of singing Valentine’s grams that include a card, candy, and a live performance of a song of your choice. The grams are $6 each and will be delivered on Thursday, February 15, during sixth period.
Keep in mind that you will need to know the correct spelling of your recipient’s name and their sixth period teacher for the order to be fulfilled. The card also includes a personal message for you to write when ordering through the MySchoolBucks website. Supplies are limited, so get them on MySchoolBucks while they’re still available!
The songs available to choose from are:
- “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” by Elvis Presley
- “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar featuring H.E.R.
- “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars
- “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars
Nani Alvarado, a junior creative writer at OCSA, is a big fan of the holiday. “I like how during Valentine’s Day even if you don’t have someone romantically, you can still spend the day celebrating love between friends and family.” There are many other things to get your Valentine along with the singing gram to make the holiday extra special! Baked goods and flowers are very popular and matching jewelry or clothes is more personal. A heartfelt letter is touching, and heart shaped origami is easy to make- all it takes is paper and a YouTube tutorial.
