OCSA’s Drama department is hosting their auditions for the Main Stage show Hamlet. Auditions will be held in the Black Box on February 12th and 13th, from 4:35pm- 7:00pm. Callback auditions will be held on Thursday, February 15th after school. Students are to prepare a short, one- minute monologue. This monologue is expected to be from a Shakespeare play that clearly displays the Elizabethan and Shakespearian style.

The sign- up sheet is posted on the Black Box door. Everyone is welcome to audition; all they have to do is sign their name under the time slot they would like to audition at. “I feel very excited to have the opportunity to audition for a Shakespeare play. I know a lot of schools don’t go for Shakespeare, but I think that it’s awesome to have a chance to act in something that is so heavily studied in both Creative Writing and in Drama.
