While my final year of high school amidst construction feels increasingly uncertain, stepping into the newsroom is something I know I can always look forward to. Writing, editing, and working with my staff brings me such genuine joy, and I am looking forward to spending my time creating content and helping others in any way that I can during my last year on staff.
My column, Fetch Fits, is entering its fourth year of publication, and I have so many things planned for it. This year, I want to go further and write about topics I haven’t covered before, from navigating the world of workwear to the twenty-year rule. As I delve further into my interests, I push my staff members to do the same. I want the OCSA Ledger to not only be a source for information, but also a source of entertainment.
I want to extend special thanks to my co-editor, Evelyn Tippett, and to our new advisor, Ms. Kastner. With their guidance, I have no doubt that we will succeed.
To success in the new year,
Jessica Vanderbeck, Editor of the OCSA Ledger
