As I enter another year on staff, I’ve spent a lot of time wondering what I want for the OCSA Ledger. I’ve loved journalism even before I became a writer. The written word has always been one of my greatest comforts and passions, so to share that through newspaper is a great honor.
If there is one thing I’ve learned through newspaper, it’s that flexibility is imperative. As I transition into this new role as Co-Editor, I want to get my priorities straight. Not only do I want to cover what goes on at this campus, but I also want to cater to the interests of fellow students. My goal is to find a balance between the academic and the artistic. I want students to be able to rely on us as a trustworthy source of information, but I also want them to rely on us as a source of entertainment.
I want to give a special thanks to my Co-Editor, Jessica Vanderbeck as well as Ms. Kastner, for helping us take the OCSA Ledger to the next level.
To new beginnings,
Evelyn Tippett, Co-Editor of the OCSA Ledger
