The United States and other countries all over the world have been trying to tackle the global warming problem for years now, turning to technological advancement and creative alternatives to fossil fuels.
Recently, in Egypt’s “New Administrative Capital” near Cairo, The Forbes International Tower is being built. The 240-meter skyscraper will be Africa’s largest building, running on hydrogen, a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels. The construction and operation of the tower is set to be conscious of the environment, reducing its own emissions and even reducing the demand for fresh water.
The developer of the tower is Magmom, who has set their sights on a new and sustainable way of constructing buildings. The project is estimated to be about $58 billion and will be home to many global businesses as well as domestic ones.
The construction of this building is a step in the right direction, to reduce our carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future for the entire world.
