Many Floridian received an amber alert this weekend for two-year-old Jordan Belliveau. Unfortunately, Belliveau has been found dead.  On Tuesday, September 4th, Charisse Stinson was arrested for the death of her son, Jordan Belliveau. According to police, Stinson confessed to the murder. She said “in a moment of frustration”, she struck her son in the face, which caused the back of his head to hit the wall of their house. After that, the boy suffered from seizures the whole night. Instead of seeking medical attention, Stinson took her son into the woods and left him there to die.

Originally, Stinson told the Largos Police Department that a stranger named Antwan offered her and her son a ride on Saturday night. She told them that Antwan punched her in the head before he drove off with Jordan, and she woke up later in the woods. The police believed that she made up the whole story, and there was no man named Antwan. They also said that Stinson changed her story based on the questions that they asked her. The police decided to arrest her when she kept making admissions about the death of her son. The investigation is ongoing, but police do not believe that anyone else was involved in the death of Jordan.
