February 15th and so on is a day most dread; nothing more to look forward to in the month, cleanups, and for some, breakups.
Now breaking up on Valentine’s Day sucks, how do you even deal with it? Buy some cheap candy and blast “I can do it with a broken heart” by Taylor Swift is a great cure. While lots of things are going on after Valentines it seems like nothing really is. St. Patrick’s Day excites some but besides pinching someone not wearing green, what’s the excitement? Being you is the excitement!
Focusing on yourself after V-Day is so so so important because it will make you a better person. It will make you feel like you are the best version of yourself. If you are down and make it seem like the world is over, you will think the world is over. Buy yourself flowers, chocolates and take time to realize you are an amazing, awesome person.
While taking self care days seems like a burden and as if would just cause more problems, the days you spend on yourself create a better you in the end. I am not saying ignore everyone and focus on yourself only, I am saying if you focus on how bad you feel that energy rubs off on not only others but your self image in your mind too. Be you, be awesome. Feed your body the emotional fuel it deserves, especially after Valentines Day by making sure you are feeding yourself good food and doing what YOU want!
