Starting from most caffeinated,
Plain Coffee:
Simple coffee is the easiest switch if you don’t mind the taste since the caffeine level is similar. While still keeping you up it does so without the harmful additives in energy drinks such as Taurine which messes with heart rhythm leading t9o overall poor heart health. Plus an added bonus is if you like your coffee black you’re eliminating not only Taurine amongst other chemicals, you’re taking out the insane amount of sugar in energy drinks too.
If you’re not up for plain coffee, try
Juices
Not apple or orange, but stuff like ginger shots or Naked Drinks. Drinks that are meant to give you a “healthy” amount of energy. Lots of times these drinks will be a little more pricey but still affordable and better than a RedBull.
The third option recommended is plain,
Un-Caffinated Sodas
Poppi, Olipop, WildWonder drinks all contain little to no, or no caffeine. This alternative may work for some since sometimes the illusion of caffeine is enough. Sometimes all you need is just something to sip on other than water throughout the day, why push an energy drink in your body when you could be solving the problem without harming yourself.
The best option ofcourse is, water. Try going cold-turkey, deal with the headaches it might be worth it!
