The OCSA Ledger is back for the 2025-2026 school year!
Evelyn Tippett:
When I was first offered the position as copy editor, in my sophomore year, I thought I was in way over my head. I didn’t initially have the confidence that I imagined a copy editor should have. But I continued to pursue my passion for newspaper, and I’m grateful that I did.
While I have gained confidence in my editing skills, I have also gained confidence in myself as a person. As I accept my role as Editor in Chief, I shall do my very best to meet and exceed expectations.
Victoria Munteanu:
Entering my last year at OCSA, I am so excited to be entering it as the Copy Editor for the OCSA Ledger.
Throughout my experience as a reporter, I have always been grateful to be given the opportunity to write articles that have the power to influence and inform my peers. With every word I write, I hope at least someone is getting something out of it, and that has been my goal since the beginning.
Yet recently, with so many changes happening before our eyes and commotion over fake news, my goals have evolved into something much greater. Building a trustworthy environment will undoubtedly mean sometimes throwing truth at the fire. I aim to do just that in order to inform our readers.
The OCSA Ledger is more than a place for articles, it is a place readers can expect to find hard-hitting information that will help them better understand the world around them one article at a time.
OUR Letter:
With writing alongside each other, we both are sure to own everything this year has to offer. New opportunities and consistency in providing direct, factual information is something we both value so greatly and are ready to continue implementing with our staff throughout the year as we believe that better journalism creates a better world.
As we approach our final year on staff, we want to ensure that the needs of our readers are met. So, if you have any questions or suggestions, be sure to contact us at @theocsaledger on Instagram.
