From September 15th to October 15th, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. With over 20+ Hispanic countries, we acknowledge the achievements, history, and cultural influence of the Hispanic community.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, Hispanic Honor Society presents this year’s theme for the Hispanic Heritage Festival: “Tranzando Nuestro Futuro!”
The President of Hispanic Honor Society, Alejandro Robertello, further elaborated on the theme by stating; “It means that while we honor and cherish our past, we also walk toward our future with those same values.”
Robertello emphasized that he hopes to “…create an amazing and memorable festival, not just for the students but for the entire Osceola County community. I want it to be an event that people remember, one that reflects its meaning, purpose and dedication that students put into making it special.”
The festival will be held on October 17th in the cafeteria. Tickets are $10, and if you want to buy a themed t-shirt, they will be available for purchase for $18.
Prepare for a night of rich Hispanic culture in the form of dance, music, poetry, and more. Esperamos verte allí!
