October 19, 2018
Today marks the fourth day in the search for missing teen, Jayme Closs. On Monday, October 18, 2018, Jamye’s parents were found dead in their Wisconsin home by local police. Jayme was believed to be in her home when her parents were killed but was not found when police arrived.
Officials stated that they received a 911 call from the Closs household at 1 AM with sounds of “noise and things.” When they arrived they found James and Denise Closs shot dead while Jayme was nowhere to be found. As of now, there are no suspects in the case. Police have deployed drones and searched the surrounding areas for the missing 13-year-old. Volunteers have also aided in the search efforts. Officials have yet to release who’s cellphone made the call or what the murder weapon was.
An Amber Alert was issued at 3:30 pm on Monday describing Jayme as 5-feet-tall, 100 pounds, having blond or strawberry blond hair. The police have been receiving over 200 tips about the missing teen. One tip lead officials to Miami, but it was later determined that the source was not credible.
