‘Boy Meets World’ actor, William Daniels made headlines after he foiled a burglary attempt at his Los Angeles home on Saturday night. The actor who is 91-years-old and his wife Bonnie Bartlett, who is 89, were asleep when they heard the burglar attempting to kick in a door that leads to their bathroom. Daniels said that he immediately “lit the light and Bonnie screamed and this person fled and that’s the whole damn story!”Shortly after the incident, the Los Angeles Department arrived at his home to assure that the couple was in no danger. The couple went right back to bed afterward.

“Boy Meets World” fans remember Daniels as Cory Matthews’ strict yet compassionate teacher and neighbor. Other fans might know him from Dr. Mark Craig in “St. Elsewhere,” which won two Emmy’s in the 1980’s. He also recently appeared on the ‘Boy Meets World’ spin-off, called ‘Girl Meets World’, which aired on Disney Channel in 2017.

Fans went to Twitter to post about their appreciation for Daniels after the incident. Will Friedle, another actor from ‘Boy Meets World’ also posted on social media after he heard the news. “Don’t ever mess with Mr. Feeny! “
