Recently, the Midwest has been pummeled by a violent winter storm that is bringing Arctic-like temperatures, enough to begin endangering creatures and civilians. Temperatures are dropping into the negatives, many northern states reaching into the negative fifties. Schools have shut down due to eminent danger, homeless people have died in their sleep because temperatures are low enough to induce frostbite and eventually freeze you to death.

Donald Trump took to twitter to speak on the Polar Vortex slamming the Midwest, “Large parts of the Country are suffering from tremendous amounts of snow and near record setting cold. Amazing how big this system is. Wouldn’t be bad to have a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!” Non-believers of Global Warming use winter storms and temperature drops to try and dismiss what scientists are saying about climate change and greenhouse gasses.

“What the hell is going on with Global Warming? Please come back fast, we need you!” Trump also tweeted after temperatures dropped to a freezing negative 60 degrees. With these temperatures, frost bite can set in three to 10 minutes depending on age and exposure. The extreme cold has 6,4000 flights canceled. Even FedEx, UPS, and USPS are canceling and dialing back services in the coldest areas of the Upper Midwest.
