On November 1st, Disney held the Fall Feast 5K, which is a part of the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. 58-year-old Mark Lockridge collapsed on a bridge in front of the restrooms during the race, where paramedics were able to respond. He was then quickly rushed to AdventHealth in Celebration and was pronounced dead. A medical examiner revealed he died of natural causes.

“We are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss, and our thoughts and sympathies remain with the runner’s family and loved ones throughout this difficult time,” said Andrea Finger, a spokeswoman for Walt Disney World Resort.
