As of 9:20 pm ET users have been reporting a problem with Youtube, Youtube T.V., and Youtube music. When going into the app and/or website users are met with grey boxes where videos should be, and if any attempt at video playback is made the message appears, “An error occurred. Please try again later.”As of the moment, it is not known what has caused this, but Youtube has responded via Twiter saying, “Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV, and YouTube Music access issues. We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you update.” Many people are worried as to what this could mean for the platform. Famous internet persona MKBHD posted a Tweet saying, “Never seen YouTube down for 30+ minutes like this before.” As of 10 pm, ET people are starting to report Youtube going back to how it was but the vast majority it is still the same. We are yet to see what will happen next.
