Flagstaff, Arizona had delicious disaster Monday when Safety officials in Arizona said around 3,500 gallons of 120-degree liquid chocolate spilled onto I-40 on Monday.

The “river of chocolate” flowed onto the highway’s westbound lanes east of Flagstaff near the 211-mile marker, the state’s Department of Public Safety tweeted. The tanker was transporting around 40,000 pounds of 120-degree liquid chocolate, officials said.

Senior brigadier Bogdan Kowalski with the fire brigade of Slupca, a town in western Poland, said, “the cooling chocolate is worse than snow.” Snow can be easily plowed off the road surface, but cooling chocolate sticks to the road while remaining slippery on top, endangering drivers. Rescue officials said the chocolate would require large amounts of hot water to clear away ,and while fire trucks can carry large amounts of water, they don’t need it to be hot to fight fires, presenting a unique problem for the removal.
