The Senior class has started their 2026 prank season with a bang, hosting a wedding for senior couple Jann Xiques-Lozada and Kelery Saavedra Gracias in the school’s courtyard as a schoolwide way to celebrate the seniors and give a comedic twist to the end of their award ceremony, lighting up the mood of one of the seniors’ last days.

The wedding was officiated by senior Brennan Hock, and the prank aspect came in during the objections, when one of the groomsmen objected and stated Jann should be with him instead, resulting in Jann running away with him and leaving Kelery behind.

The prank theming was clear, and the overall reception to the event was great. When questioned, Kelery said the prank was picked as a way to attempt to involve everyone in the school with the prank, and as a beautiful conclusion to their school days. “We’ve been together for four years, so being able to conclude on this was really special. I’m really glad everyone came out to participate,” she told the OCSA Ledger in an interview.

When questioned about what the seniors might do next, Jann said, “It’s confidential,” and Kelery added, “watch out for the 20th.” The seniors are excited for Senior Takeover this year and what they have planned,  with both Jann and Kelery claiming it will be one of the strongest performances in recent years.
